2019 MINI Clubman

The 2019 MINI Clubman offers cozy seating for up to five passengers and you also have a foot-activated sensor for the split-rear door so that it opens easily. The powertrain at the base level is a three-cylinder 1.5-liter engine that puts out 134 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque with a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic transmission. Safety equipment includes active driving assistant and adaptive cruise control. This beautiful new MINI car also includes special features like touchscreen navigation and easy device pairing with smartphone integration for Apple or Android.

2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack

While the 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack offers decent ride quality, it comes with some limitations. It can get costly trying to outfit it with options to measure up to the competition. Under the hood is a turbo 1.8-liter engine that puts out 168 horsepower that is paired to a six-speed manual transmission. Safety tech includes a rear view camera system but you will need to pay extra for the driver assistance package. Special features include VW Car-Net® App-Connect, but having a navigation system is going to cost a bit more.

2019 Subaru Outback

People rave about the 2019 Subaru Outback driving like a crossover SUV but the six-cylinder engine guzzles fuel. At the base level, this vehicle has a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that puts out 175 horsepower while being paired to a Lineartronic® CVT. Safety technology includes EyeSight® driver assist but you will need to go up in trim levels for the option of reverse automatic braking and blind-spot detection. The base level only has manually-adjustable front seats while other trim levels have power adjustable seating for both driver and passenger.
